The Department of Chemistry at Université Laval is currently accepting applications for a PhD position in the area of Conjugated Molecules and Materials in the laboratory of Prof. Jean-François Morin. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a diverse research team working on the synthesis of new carbon allotropes and 7-conjugated molecules and polymers for various applications.
About the Project:
The research project focuses on the design and synthesis of novel non-benzenoid conjugated hydrocarbons. As a PhD candidate, you will have the chance to contribute to cutting-edge research in the development of innovative materials. We are seeking highly motivated students with strong communication skills and work ethics. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in organic synthesis.
