Position Details:
- Position: Industrial PhD scholarship
- Field: Tissue Adhesive Materials in Bio-surgical Leak Management
- Duration: 3 years

- Collaborators: DTU, Ferrosan Medical Devices A/S, Rigshospitalet, and Stanford University, USA
Responsibilities:
- Advancing new biocompatible materials for tissue adhesives
- Organic/Polymer synthesis
- Materials characterization
- Assaying polymers for tissue adhesive formation capabilities
- Medical device prototyping
- Pre-clinical testing
Qualifications:
- Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science (polymer), biomedical engineering, or pharmacy
- Laboratory experience in synthetic organic/polymer chemistry or biomaterials science
- Knowledge/experience in materials characterization techniques
- Previous experience in biomedical product development is advantageous
