- MSc degree in environmental sciences, geosciences, or related field
- Evidence of research success through thesis and publications
- Accomplishments in aquatic biogeochemistry and/or stream ecosystem science
- Strong quantitative skills
- Experience with fieldwork and outdoor activities
- Fluency in English
