- Project: Within the framework of the ERC-funded project "SecMessFunctions," the successful candidate will work on identifying key components and switches in second-messenger signalling cascades in bacteria. The research aims to understand how these networks control cell differentiation and bacterial adaptation to stress, with potential implications for optimizing antibiotic production in biotechnology.
- Qualifications: Candidates must have a Master of Science (M.Sc.) or equivalent degree with a focus on microbiology. They should possess experience in biochemical, molecular, and microbiological techniques, with preference given to those with experience in fluorescence microscopy. Strong motivation, teamwork skills, a passion for science, and excellent written and spoken English communication skills are required.
