PhD student in forest and natural resource economics

- Position: PhD student in forest and natural resource economics
- University: Colorado State University, Department of Forest and Rangeland Stewardship
- Location: Fort Collins, Colorado
- Assistantship Start Date: Fall (August) 2023
- Research Project: Focus on forest and rangeland conservation easement in Colorado
- Responsibilities: Data collection, data analysis, result interpretation, manuscript and dissertation preparation, result presentations at academic conferences
- Qualifications:
  - Required: Undergraduate degree in forestry, economics, or a closely related field; research experience; proficiency in R or other data management and analysis software; ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong work ethic and attention to detail; effective communication skills
  - Preferred: Master's degree in forestry, economics, or a closely related field; research experience in conservation easements or natural resource economics; familiarity with research work publishing process
- Stipend and Tuition: 3.5 years of GRA/GTA funding support, resident tuition, and portion of student fees; annual stipend of $27,600 ($2300/month) for a 20hrs/week appointment along with health insurance
