Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on human-robot interaction, focusing on control engineering principles
- Develop and implement novel algorithms for model-predictive control and reinforcement learning
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance of developed algorithms
- Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to integrate control algorithms into robotic systems
- Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals
- Contribute to the academic community through presentations and participation in relevant workshops
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a specialization in control engineering
- Strong academic background in control theory, optimization, and system identification
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in control systems (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++)
- Prior knowledge and experience in model-predictive control, reinforcement learning, or robotics
- Solid mathematical and analytical skills for developing and analyzing control algorithms
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience in designing, building, and programming robotic systems
- Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) or other robotic frameworks
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques applied to control systems
- Experience with real-time control and hardware implementation
