Looking for a Ph.D. student for HUBS!
The HUman Building Synergy (HUBS) laboratory seeks passionate & motivated candidates for a fully-funded Ph.D. student! The appointee will be responsible for
• Human Building Interaction: Devising innovative ways to connect occupants with buildings,
• Grid-interactive Effective Buildings: Remaking buildings into clean and flexible energy resources through
novel approaches,
• Clean/Urban energy modeling: Developing a clean energy community/urban energy modeling.

Qualification
Ph.D. student applicants should have:
• A degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering.
• Research experience in one of the research topics that HUBS pursues (find it in the homepage); preferably,
a journal publication (or a proof of submission) as the first author.
o Of course, a strong passion for your research and career, integrity, and willingness to learn and adapt
will be required.
• Programming skills (e.g., Python)
o You should be able to deal with many programming languages to conduct research in HUBS. • Experience in using building energy modeling software (optional)
