PhD position in Molecular Virology
We are looking for a PhD student to join the research group of PD Dr. Hanna-Mari Baldauf at the Max von Pettenkofer-Institute, Department of Virology at the LMU Munich. The position is funded for 36 months (TV -L E13, 65%) and will start in early / mid 2024.
The DFG-funded project is highly collaborative at the interface of biochemistry, virology and evolutionary biology using state-of-the-art technologies and focuses on lentiviral gene expression mechanisms and lentiviral evolution. Previous work in biochemistry and/or virology is an advantage, but not mandatory. Applicants should have a strong commitment to science, a strong interest in molecular virology and the ability to conduct independent research.
The PhD position requires
a Master's Degree/Diploma in Life Sciences or related disciplines.
